Free & Low-Cost Parking
Salt Lake City Public Library — 2 hours free (210 E 400 S, ~6 min walk) Underground parking with 2 hours free when validated inside the library. Bring your ticket in and ask staff to stamp it. Library hours vary: Mon–Thu until 8pm, Fri–Sat until 6pm, Sun until 5pm. Plan accordingly for late afternoon appointments.
City Creek Center Mall — 2 hours free (50 S Main St, ~8 min walk) First 2 hours free in the underground garage. Enter from West Temple, 100 South, South Temple, or State Street. $3/hour after. Note: mall is closed Sundays.
Paid Parking Monthly pass: $125/month through the parking office at 40 E Gallivan Ave, Ste 38. Day rate: $15 without a pass.
Public Transit TRAX Gallivan Plaza Station is steps from our office — a 1-minute walk. The entire downtown core is a Free Fare Zone, meaning rides within downtown cost nothing. Blue and Green lines both stop here. Bus routes 1, 2, 4, 200, 205, 209, and 220 also serve the area. Coming from Utah County or Davis County? FrontRunner into Salt Lake Central, then one TRAX stop to Gallivan Plaza.
Street parking — free weekends Metered spots are available throughout the neighborhood at $0.75–$2.00/hour, enforced Mon–Fri 8am–8pm (2-hr max until 6pm, 4-hr max until 10pm). Saturdays: free 2-hour parking. Sundays: free all day. Pay at black pay stations or use the Park SLC app. SpotAngels app shows real-time availability.
